Mr. Cline has been repairing guitars and giving guitar lessons for over 20 years. After working for a major guitar retail chain for many years as lead technician he decided to take a leap and start a business of his own. His passion for music and musical instrument repair started early on in life. Learning and writing songs filled much of his time, sometimes practicing up to four hours a day.
After several years of playing he realized the value of a properly functioning guitar and started learning about guitar maintenance and repair. Dissatisfied with the local repair shops in his area, he bought books and watched videos to learn the basics he needed to make his guitar play and sound better. Determination kept him going through many times of frustration on this journey. At the time there wasn't nearly as much information available to learn, and the specialized tools for this trade were and still are expensive. In the year 2000 he was able to land a gig as an apprentice at Cotter Guitars in Charlotte, NC, where he learned the skills he needed to be successful as a guitar repair technician.
Throughout the intervening years from now until then he has worked a few jobs at musical instrument retail centers and workshops until he decided to settle down in Greenville, TX and open a business, run from a brand new building located just outside his residence. The opportunity was a dream come true. He serves Greenville and the surrounding areas with passion and commitment.
